   Dr. beach rated this the number one beach in country. What do you think?

   Don’t take the ratings too seriously. Keep in mind that beaches have good days and bad days depending on the weather, water quality, waves, seasonal sand erosion, debris from recent storms and so on. But on it’s good days Hanalei is easily the best beach in Hawaii (in our opinion).

   As for Dr. Beach’s opinion that Hamoa beach on Maui is the 5th best in the US? Perhaps too much sun exposure at Hanalei Bay
